Terms of service

These Terms apply to finlaxmi.com and its financial-planning, statement-processing and available WhatsApp features, including Finlaxmi Ingest, operated by Finominal AI Pvt Ltd (“FinLaxmi”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. For privacy, compliance or deletion questions, contact developer@finlaxmi.com.

1. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. Keep your account information accurate and your login secure. Connect only a mailbox you control and submit financial information you are authorized to use. Do not upload another person’s statements without appropriate authority. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

2. What FinLaxmi provides

FinLaxmi provides tools for financial planning, statement discovery and extraction, account identification, transaction reconciliation, and related reports or classifications. Availability varies by feature and release. Some features are experimental or in testing. We may improve or discontinue features and will provide notice where required.

We do not operate your bank account, hold your money, execute payments or trades, or act as your bank. Gmail access is read-only and is not authority to send messages, alter your mailbox or move money.

3. Gmail connection and your information

Connecting Gmail is optional. Google’s consent screen explains the permission requested. FinLaxmi uses mailbox-wide read-only access to search for candidate financial emails, including unfamiliar senders; assess their relevance from message details and, for candidates, message content; retrieve relevant statements and supported investment documents; identify accounts and issuer password instructions; and process that information for the disclosed user-facing features. This can include historical discovery and background checks for new documents while connected. FinLaxmi does not send, label, mark read, move or delete Gmail messages.

Most extraction uses fixed rules. In limited exception paths, after those rules fail, selected candidate-email text, inline images or a small number of rendered pages from a one-off account document may be processed by OpenAI solely to propose a missing account fact or issuer password rule. The service validates proposals before use. FinLaxmi does not use Google-derived content for general-purpose AI training.

The Privacy Policy explains the data accessed, service-provider processing, retention and deletion controls. You retain your rights in your documents and information. You authorize us to process them only as needed to provide the requested service and as described in that policy. This is not permission to sell your data, use Google-derived information for advertising or general-purpose model training, or conduct unrestricted human review.

You may revoke access through Google Account connections or disconnect within FinLaxmi where available. Previously imported records are not automatically erased when you disconnect. Follow the Privacy Policy’s deletion-request procedure to request their removal. Never provide your Gmail password, banking login password, PIN or one-time password to FinLaxmi; supply a document password only when needed to unlock a statement.

Optional WhatsApp features

Messaging FinLaxmi lets us respond to your request through WhatsApp and our messaging providers; it does not give us access to your other chats or authorize Gmail access. Signing up or connecting Gmail is not an opt-in to WhatsApp marketing. Any proactive messaging requires the applicable permission, and messages outside the customer-service window must use approved templates. You can opt out by blocking our business in WhatsApp or emailing developer@finlaxmi.com. Email requests are handled manually. Use our deletion controls if you also want retained data removed.

Do not send full payment-card or bank-account numbers, PAN or other government identifiers, passwords, PINs or one-time passwords in WhatsApp. Automated replies are not a human adviser; human support is available by email at the contact above. WhatsApp/Meta and, where used, SendPulse process messages to deliver the channel under their own terms and policies. WhatsApp is optional and feature availability may vary.

4. Accuracy and financial decisions

Extraction, account matching, categorisation, reconciliation and forecasts can contain errors or omissions. A “verified” or “reconciled” result means the applicable software checks passed; it is not a bank certification, independent audit or guarantee that every transaction, statement or account is complete. Always compare important results with original records and report suspected errors.

Planning outcomes depend on your inputs and assumptions about future events. They are estimates, not guaranteed investment returns or promises that a goal will be achieved. General reports and automated explanations are informational tools, not a substitute for individualized advice from an appropriately qualified financial, investment, tax or legal professional. No advisory or fiduciary relationship is created merely by using the website. Any separately offered professional engagement requires its own agreement and applicable disclosures.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse credentials, impersonate someone, bypass access controls, upload malicious files, attempt to access another user’s records, unlawfully collect personal information, interfere with the service or use it for fraud. Do not use Google-derived information from FinLaxmi for advertising, data resale, creditworthiness or lending decisions, or general-purpose AI training. Use automated interfaces only as authorized. We may restrict access to address misuse, a security threat, legal requirements or a breach of these Terms.

6. Charges and third-party services

Any applicable price, trial period, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions must be disclosed with the relevant offer before purchase. Connecting Gmail is not by itself authorization for a payment. Nothing in these Terms overrides a specific offer you accepted or non-waivable consumer rights. Contact us about billing questions.

Google, WhatsApp/Meta, SendPulse and other providers operate independent services under their own terms. Availability may depend on them, and their outages or permission changes may interrupt FinLaxmi. Our use of their services does not imply that Google, Meta, a bank or another provider sponsors, certifies or endorses FinLaxmi. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for connectivity.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

You keep ownership of the information and documents you submit. FinLaxmi and its licensors retain rights in the website, software, branding and original materials. We give you permission to use the available service for its intended purpose, not ownership of its software. Do not remove ownership notices or use our brand to imply endorsement. You may provide feedback voluntarily; do not include another person’s confidential information without authority.

8. Availability, responsibility and limits

We take reasonable care in providing the service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete format coverage or error-free results. Keep your own original financial records. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees about a particular outcome, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, fraud or intentional misconduct.

9. Ending use and changes to these Terms

You may stop using the service, revoke Gmail access, opt out of WhatsApp communications and request account or data deletion. Requests are subject to proportionate ownership verification and any lawful retention requirements, which we explain; we confirm completion or applicable restrictions. Deletion affects information held by FinLaxmi and processors acting for us, not emails in your Gmail mailbox or records independently held by WhatsApp/Meta. Access may be suspended for the reasons above; this does not itself erase retained records or outstanding obligations. We will publish updated Terms with a revised date and provide any notice or consent process required for material changes. Changes do not retrospectively authorize new uses of previously collected Google data.

10. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections and rights that apply to you. Please contact us first to seek resolution of a concern; this does not prevent you from approaching a competent court, regulator or other legally available forum.
